New Caledonia: sunshine, nice temperature, constant and strong wind for my JN Easy Rider 7m, flat water, big reef waves, the ideal for freestyle and waveriding kitesurfing. In this paradise island I won the speed crossing event, finished third in the waves category and fourth in freestyle. So for 2006 I am KPWT vice world champion in the waveriding and race speed crossing disciplines. In Ouano, the wave spot, conditions were pretty radical: 2m waves the first day and then 3m the second day...And of course, different sections in which the wave was becoming a nice tube, what a bowl !! We spent a few days on a small wild island located close from the reef in the lagoon, that was a great experience! This photo was taken during the competition in Ouano.  Photo: Carlos Delicado
